I review the beers I drink

Apothic – Chardonnay 2022

Pale golden in color, smells of honeysuckle, pear, and wildflower honey. The taste is semi-sweet with flavors of pear, green apple, kiwi, and a touch of vanilla. The finish is long with a mild acidity, featuring notes of apple skins, oak, vanilla, and lychee. Overall, it’s very well balanced and enjoyable, not as bright as the White, but also more nuanced.

ABV:13.5%
IBU:
Malts:Chardonnay, Viognier
Other:"The fruit was whole-cluster pressed, then the juice settled and was racked to tank to optimize clarity and mouthfeel. The Chardonnay underwent partial malolactic fermentation and was fermented on selected oak with sur lie aging, enhancing the wine’s delicate fruit flavors while adding subtle caramel, cream and spice characteristics. A portion of the Chardonnay and Viognier were fermented in stainless-steel tanks."
Yeast:Wine
