I review the beers I drink

Southern Tier – Maple Warlock

Reviews for the original & nitro versions of Warlock.

Flashlight shows as a hazy, deep chestnut brown dot, head retention is light, smells of maple syrup, candied bacon, and pumpkin. The taste is creamy and lightly sweet with flavors of maple syrup, Belgian waffles, pumpkin, vanilla, and spices on a smooth and creamy full body. The finish is long and sweet and low in bitterness, featuring notes of maple syrup, dark chocolate, coffee, and cinnamon. Overall, this is a very tasty beer, the maple flavor is nice and is balanced perfectly with the imperial stout flavors. However the pumpkin pie notes tend to get lost, leaving me with just faint notes of cinnamon throughout.
