Ricossa – Barbera Appassimento 2021

A Barbera from Monferrato using “appassimento” dried grapes. Smells of berries, red meat, and forest floor. The taste is lightly sweet and jammy up front with flavors of plum, cherry, blackberry, and fig on a medium body. The finish is long and moderate in bitterness and with a moderately low acidity, featuring notes of leather, grape leaves, raspberry, and roast beef. Overall, this is a lovely, well balanced and well rounded red wine that’s very easy to drink yet still bold in flavor.

ABV:14%
