Mead? Why not! And yeah I specialize in beer glassware so this seemed most fitting out of what I have. Smells of straight up honey. Like what you smell as you have honey in your mouth at that moment; super rich and warm. The tastes like honey and booze, with the warmth of the alcohol complementing the honey flavors well; the body is slick bordering on syrupy. The finish is long but dry with residual warmth and sweetness, though no real change in flavor otherwise. Overall, I don’t know anything about mead except it’s made with honey and it has alcohol, and really that’s all I can say about this one for sure. The label says “other than standard mead” and while what makes it non-standard may be lost on me, I enjoy it.
