I review the beers I drink

Campo Viejo – Tempranillo 2022

Pours a bright and clear ruby red, smells of red fruits, chocolate, and pipe tobacco. The taste is smooth and lightly jammy with flavors of cherry, plum, strawberry and red grape on a silky soft full body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness and acidity, featuring notes of grape leaves, dark chocolate, forest floor, cherry, tobacco, and subtle raspberry to round it all out. Overall, this is a nice red, bold and intense, similar to a Cab, but perhaps a touch lighter bodied and brighter.
