Dave Drinks Beer

I review the beers I drink

Tree House – Persist

Flashlight is unable to penetrate this beer at all, no real head retention, smells of fudge, caramel, and smoke. The taste is sweet and decadent with flavors of brownies, caramel-cored ice cream cones, Coca-Cola, honey, and maple on a syrupy thick full body. The finish is long and warm and low in bitterness, featuring notes of dark chocolate, maple syrup, salted caramel, mocha latte, and cherry cordial. Overall this is so rich and luxuriously sweet, but or cloying; just layer upon layer of classic desserts and pastries and unfathomably smooth given the ABV.
