I review the beers I drink

Southern Tier – PumQueen

Clear with minimal head retention and big dark chunks of something floating around, smells of applesauce, cinnamon, and clove. The taste is sweet and balanced between flavors of fresh baked apple pie and pumpkin pie on a smooth full body. The finish is long and moderately low in acidity, featuring notes of green apple, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg. Overall, the floaters make this a very unappealing cider visually, but the flavors are fantastic and the body is thicker than any cider I’ve had before and helps sell the pumpkin pie experience. I may try pouring the rest of the 4-pack through a strainer though.
