I review the beers I drink

Mean Max – Harvest Amber

Moderately hazy with solid head retention, smells of chestnut, peach, and herbal hops. The taste is crisp yet fruity with flavors of peach, apple, and cherry underneath bold toasted wheat bread and Ritz crackers on a smooth and creamy full body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of apricot, blood orange, herbal hops, and subtle pine. Overall, it’s far fruitier than I anticipated, bordering on tart at times, but it all stays in balance and feels intentional and intriguing.
