Romulan Ale Energy Drink
Picked this up in Montréal a couple weeks ago, clear blue with no head, smells like blue raspberry Jolly Ranchers. The taste is sweet and fruity with flavors of raspberry, cherry, and perhaps a hint of lime on an effervescent medium body. The finish is long and lightly tart, featuring notes of raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry. Overall, it’s a pretty simple beverage, mostly just a blue raspberry hard candy in drink form, but I appreciate the Trek branding even if the product itself doesn’t really seem to be related apart from the color.
