I review the beers I drink

Lustau – Jarana Fino Sherry

Pale and clear, smells of pear, macadamia, and walnut. The taste is crisp and bright with flavors of pear, lemon vinaigrette, and lychee on a light body. The finish is long and dry but low in bitterness and a lingering moderately acidity, featuring notes of oak, popsicle sticks,  grape leaves, and subtle hazelnut. Overall, it’s a most intriguing wine, most definitely not what I expected, I didn’t really expect any nuttiness from a fino, but this definitely leads with that and oak, with lighter and brighter notes underneath. I’m interested to see how the rest of these sherries taste…
