Pale and clear, smells of marzipan, lemon zest, and brie. The taste is bright and rich with flavors of almond milk, brie rind, macadamia, lemon peel, and hazelnut on light body. The finish is long and moderately bitter and tart, featuring notes of lemon juice, almond, sea salt, and a touch of yeasty funk, reminiscent of Belgian ale, yet with its own unique character. Overall, this is a bold wine, very nutty and yeasty but also bright and with a refreshing acidity. I personally prefer this fino over the Jarana.
