Lightly hazy with light head retention, smells of mango and honeydew melon with a faint piney background. The taste is crisp and bready, with a subtle fruitiness underneath and a full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter with notes of citrus peel, pine, and floral hops. Overall, I like it. It’s balanced and drinkable, and with a nice blend of east coast and west coast flavors and assertive yet restrained bitterness, this would be a great intro to IPAs.
