I review the beers I drink

Broadbent – 10 Year Verdelho Madeira

Pours a dark golden hue reminiscent of apple juice, smells of pear, green apple, and honeysuckle. The taste is rich and almost savory with flavors of honey, fig, caramel, pear, almond, and white grape juice on a silky smooth light body. The finish is long and moderately low in both bitterness and acidity, featuring notes of apricot, apple skins, cherry, plum, vanilla, almond, and oak. Overall, it’s a nice wine, not too sweet to where I’d be afraid to have multiple glasses, not too tart or bitter, and with a lovely variety of flavors and aromas. I’d rank it slightly higher than the Sercial.
