Pours a very pale golden color, smells of white grapes, brioche, and citrus. The taste is bright and fruity with flavors of white grape juice, green apple, pear, kiwi, and subtle strawberry on a very effervescent medium body. The finish is long and very tart, featuring notes of raspberry, lime, green apple, lemon, and subtle minerals underneath. Overall, it’s bracingly tart, similar to a kettle soured beer, but fruity and with a clean, dry finish; an experience somewhere between prosecco and champagne.
