I review the beers I drink

Surly – Grapefruit Supreme

I recently received a birthday beer shipment from Ansichart with a great variety of Midwest beers, starting with this one. Moderately hazy with light head retention, smells of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, Squirt soda, and a touch of lime. The taste is bright and juicy with flavors of grapefruit, lemon, and tangerine on a light, finely carbonated body. The finish is long and very low in bitterness, and with a moderate acidity, featuring notes of grapefruit, lemon juice, lime peel, and just a touch of herbal hops. Overall, it’s very light and refreshing and just the right amount of tartness, very tasty and effortlessly sessionable. Reminds me of SeaQuench.

Good description, I’m not good at translating taste into words, it’s far easier for me to translate words into taste, and i can taste more than grapefruit now!
