I review the beers I drink

Saranac – 1888 Octoberfest

Smells of lightly roasty malts, toasty bread, very faint lager yeast. Tastes of dark roasted biscuity malt with a touch of sweetness up front, lightly floral hop character underneath, low bitterness. Moderate mouthfeel and a crisp, dry finish. Not overly complex, but good, sessionable example of the märzen style, would drink again.
