I review the beers I drink

Sam Adams – Honey Rye Pale Ale

Clear with solid head retention, smells of piney hops and peppery rye, with notes of softer malt and honey underneath. Taste is an interesting blend of strong rye malt and sweet honey, balanced with strong hop bitterness. Body is slick, and finish is dry and resinous. Overall, an interesting take on a pale ale, the hops are still the focus, however I would like just a little more honey and lighter floral hops to really make something unique.

Really liked this beer! Thought it was well balance but yet with some distinctive flavors. Unique and easy on the pallet. ABV 5.8 IBUs 33
