Apparently this beer came out of retirement, but I never noticed it leave. This beer has been in every seasonal mix pack for as long as I can remember, but I have not reviewed it here.
Clear with a thin cap of head that stays. Smells of toasted bread and light, floral hops. Taste is a crisp, toasty malt base that is quickly matched by a dry hoppiness, but everything stays in balance as the moderate body goes down and leaves the crisp clean finish behind. A solid, sessionable lager with a lot more flavor and complexity than the Leinie’s Original.
