I review the beers I drink

Crown Royal – Reserve

Smells of salted caramel, butter toffee, and aged rum. The taste is lightly sweet with flavors of honey, caramel, toffee, and maple syrup. The finish is long with no burn, featuring notes of toasted hazelnuts, charred toast, oak, and white pepper. Overall, it’s a very nice whisky; exceptionally smooth and rich, I actually enjoy sipping this one straight, and it was worth both the price and the wait for my local store to get it back in stock.

Crown Reserve & Cola is rich and smooth with a noticeable sweetness and notes of oak and maple.

A Whisky Sour is smooth and oaky with the lemon and sugar taking up supporting roles in the background.

A Manhattan is bright and bitter and balanced with oak, maple, and fruity red wine up front, and a finish of spice, bitters, and more oak. Very complex yet effortlessly sippable.

An Old Fashioned is remarkable complex and layered, with brown sugar and orange peel up front and a finish of charred oak and bourbon cherries.
