Pours a pumpkin hued brownish orange color, smells of fig, raisins and brandy. The taste is bright and intensely sweet with flavors candied apple, salted caramel, honey, cherry, plum, and raspberry on a syrupy full body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness and acidity, featuring notes of dried apricot, mead, toffee, banana bread, and oak. Overall this wine is so sweet it’s hard to imagine having much more than a single glass in a sitting, yet it is remarkably enjoyable and rewarding to sip, with multiple layers revealing themselves and evolving as the glass warms.
