Pours a tawny burnt orange color, smells of fig, raisin, plum, and alcohol. The taste is quite sweet and fruity with flavors of fig, raisin, plum, cherry, and apple on a smooth, almost syrupy thick body. The finish is long and low in bitterness and acidity, featuring notes of dried apricot, salted caramel, oak, and tobacco. Overall, this is quite intriguing; a but too sweet for my preference but very complex and structured. This makes each additional sip quite compelling despite the sweetness. I would definitely drink this style again.
