I review the beers I drink

Tree House – Normand

Flashlight shows a bright ruby red hue, no real head retention, smells of toasted rye bread, bourbon, and oak. The taste is rich and dark with flavors of plum, black cherry,  whiskey & cola, maple syrup, and bread pudding on a smooth medium body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of tobacco, oak, bourbon, vanilla, dark chocolate, herbal hops, and a touch of Belgian yeast. Overall, it’s very bold and exuberant still, nice balance and variety of flavors just a little rough around the edges; I would definitely like to see how this one improves with age, the bottle claims it can go up to 12 years!
