Special shout out to my coworker Brian who gave me some free Alchemist brews! I sampled this one last time I went but they did not have any cans to buy at the time.
Hazy with lots of big chunks of precipitate floating around and decent head retention, smells of juicy citrus and “dank” hops, with a soft doughy background. The taste is crisp and resinous with lots of hop oils upfront with hints of citrus juice underneath, and a thick, oily body. The finish is long and moderate to high in bitterness with notes of pine resin and herbal hops. Overall, not quite as good as Heady, but still a damn good NE IPA with a bold, resinous hop character.
