I review the beers I drink

Schmaltz – Hop Momma IPA

Very hazy with minimal head retention, smells of apricot, peach, and a hint of citrus. The taste is semi-sweet/semi-tart with undertones of apricot and citrus; the body is surprisingly thin and very light. The finish is long with low to moderate bitterness, featuring herbal, pine, and citrus hop notes and an extremely faint “maybe” of habanero; I’m really not even sure if it’s there at all. Overall, it’s an interesting take on the IPA, and very drinkable, I just wish it had more body and more habanero to justify it’s use.
