I review the beers I drink

Foulmouthed – Grawlix

Thanks to my pharmacist Matt for bringing me a can of this from Maine! Apparently a grawlix is a string of random characters used to stand in for profanity, such as in comics or the stylized brewery name on the can of “FØÜLM★U†#ED.”

Anyway, very lightly hazy with great head retention, smells of citrus and pine with a doughy undertone. The taste is crisp and lightly sweet; an intriguing juxtaposition of peppery roasted malts and juicy, fruity yeast and hop notes, particularly of apple and cherry, with a smooth and creamy full body. The finish is moderate in duration and bitterness, with notes of citrus peel, herbal hops and a hint of mango. Overall, this is a fantastic beer and I would love to have more of it and try more from this brewery, bravo!
