So, for the next 4 evenings I will do 3 reviews, each of the beers themselves and each of the blends.<\/p>\n
Anyway, this is super hazy with almost no head retention, smells of soft doughy malts and light banana and clove aromas one would expect from a witbier, perhaps a little acidity underneath. The taste is very lightly sweet, but zesty and and bright with notes of citrus and subtle peppery spices and a light but highly effervescent mouthfeel. The finish is very clean and citrusy with virtually no bitterness and a very subtle astringency. Overall, it’s a witbier, but with a very refreshing citrus character that really makes this beer stand out, and it’s very sessionable which is hard for an unfiltered beer to accomplish.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","template":"","embm_styles":[163],"embm_groups":[],"embm_menus":[],"class_list":["post-959","embm_beer","type-embm_beer","status-publish","hentry","embm_style-witbier"],"embm_profile":{"malts":"Pale, White Wheat, and Oats","hops":"Nugget and Cascade","additions":"Grains of Paradise, Fresh Ground Seville Orange Peel, Fresh Ground Indian Coriander","yeast":"American Wheat Ale Yeast","abv":5.2,"ibu":12},"embm_extras":{"availability":"","notes":"","beer_number":null},"embm_untappd":{"id":1962917},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/959","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/embm_beer"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=959"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/959\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":962,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/959\/revisions\/962"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=959"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"embm_style","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_styles?post=959"},{"taxonomy":"embm_group","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_groups?post=959"},{"taxonomy":"embm_menu","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_menus?post=959"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
