Also, rumor has it (and the &#8220;kicks you where you most expect it&#8221; on the label seems to confirm) that DKML stands for Dick Kicker Malt Liquor, which has a nice ring to it.<\/p>\n<p>Hazy with light head retention, smells of BOOZE with sweet adjunct grains and a light woodiness underneath. Taste is sweet and boozy, perhaps a little spicy in the background with a thin body. The finish is semi-dry, with a nice floral hop character and light bitterness, plus a lot more booziness and that classic malt liquor finish, I&#8217;m not sure how else to describe it, but all cheap high gravity beer has it. Overall, I respect the hell out of Founders and their work with barrel aging, and this beer&#8217;s a cool experience: a barrel aged malt liquor! In reality though, it&#8217;s a malt liquor; the aging adds some nice flavors, but underneath it&#8217;s still a cheap beer with inherent off flavors.
