Clear with solid head retention, smells of sweet gingerbread cookies, a mulled wine with cinnamon and orange peel, and a hint of cranberry perhaps? Taste is crisp and spicy, no sweetness, bit a slight fruitiness from the orange peel; medium body. The finish is earthy and herbal, with a low to medium bitterness and an additional note of dry roasted cinnamon. Overall it’s perfectly balanced, and infinitely complex. Just like beloved family and friends this is a welcome visitor in my home each winter that’s great to share and spread some holiday cheers!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","template":"","embm_styles":[162],"embm_groups":[],"embm_menus":[],"class_list":["post-792","embm_beer","type-embm_beer","status-publish","hentry","embm_style-winter-warmer"],"embm_profile":{"malts":"Samuel Adams two-row pale malt blend, Munich 10, and chocolate","hops":"Hallertau Mittelfrueh, Tettnang Tettnanger","additions":"Orange peel, ginger, cinnamon","yeast":"Ale","abv":5.9,"ibu":25},"embm_extras":{"availability":"","notes":"","beer_number":null},"embm_untappd":{"id":4050},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/792","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/embm_beer"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=792"}],"version-history":[{"count":4,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/792\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":797,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/792\/revisions\/797"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=792"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"embm_style","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_styles?post=792"},{"taxonomy":"embm_group","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_groups?post=792"},{"taxonomy":"embm_menu","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_menus?post=792"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
