Taste is a smooth, toasty bready malt character with a little fruitiness, plum and cherry notes, perhaps from the yeast? The beer has a full body and a nice dry, Noble hop finish, low in bitterness, but enough to balance out and cleanse the malt flavors on the palate until the next sip. Overall, a solid example of a m\u00e4rzen, quite quaffable, and surprisingly complex, a classic in Midwestern craft beer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","template":"","embm_styles":[93],"embm_groups":[],"embm_menus":[],"class_list":["post-666","embm_beer","type-embm_beer","status-publish","hentry","embm_style-marzen"],"embm_profile":{"malts":null,"hops":null,"additions":null,"yeast":null,"abv":null,"ibu":null},"embm_extras":{"availability":null,"notes":null,"beer_number":null},"embm_untappd":{"id":null},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/666","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/embm_beer"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=666"}],"version-history":[{"count":3,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/666\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":670,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/666\/revisions\/670"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=666"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"embm_style","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_styles?post=666"},{"taxonomy":"embm_group","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_groups?post=666"},{"taxonomy":"embm_menu","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_menus?post=666"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
