Taste is a roasty, toasty malt base that only grows in flavor and intensity. This is a thick, creamy beer, perhaps the smoothest mouthfeel I’ve ever felt, with a smoky and almost sweet finish that lasts forever. Hops are very hard to find in this brew, but I like it. Some may consider this more of a winter beer than a fall beer, either way it’s a solid beer and while the maple isn’t a dominant flavor, it’s still noticeable enough to make a statement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","template":"","embm_styles":[118],"embm_groups":[],"embm_menus":[],"class_list":["post-633","embm_beer","type-embm_beer","status-publish","hentry","embm_style-red-ale-american-amber-red"],"embm_profile":{"malts":null,"hops":null,"additions":null,"yeast":null,"abv":null,"ibu":null},"embm_extras":{"availability":null,"notes":null,"beer_number":null},"embm_untappd":{"id":null},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/633","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/embm_beer"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=633"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/633\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":636,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/633\/revisions\/636"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=633"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"embm_style","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_styles?post=633"},{"taxonomy":"embm_group","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_groups?post=633"},{"taxonomy":"embm_menu","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_menus?post=633"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
