The taste is sweet and bready with flavors of toasted biscuits, caramel, honey, and cream on a thick syrupy body. The finish is long and high in bitterness, featuring notes of pine, grapefruit peel and herbal hops. Overall, this beer is probably past its prime, as an IPA, definitely, but barleywines do age well so I&#8217;m not sure.
