The taste is rich and fruity with flavors of cordial cherries, fig, raisin, and mocha cappuccino on a smooth, extra thick body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of dark chocolate, espresso, vanilla, charred oak, and bourbon. Overall, it seems to have mellowed out slightly over the past year, losing some of its fruity notes and developing bolder notes of dark chocolate, coffee, and bourbon barrel.
