The taste is smooth and dark with flavors of chocolate syrup, espresso, burnt caramel, and charred bread on a silky smooth yet thick and syrupy body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of dark chocolate, vanilla, oak, spicy rye whiskey, and smoke. Overall, this is definitely a standout from this year, not exceptionally smooth AND exceptionally complex, I could honestly keep sipping and naming flavors here all night.
