V.Q.P.R.D. stands for &#8220;Vino di Qualit\u00e0 Prodotto in Regioni Determinate&#8221; essentially the same thing as Denominazione di Origine Controllata on the label; Fine means it has been aged at least one year.<\/p>\n<p>Pours a reddish amber hue reminiscent of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/beers\/la-colombina-brunello-di-montalcino-docg-2018\/\">Brunello<\/a>, smells of raisin, fig, and amaretto. The taste is sweet and rich with flavors of fig, raisin, plum, caramel, and apricot on a tannin free medium body. The finish is long and semi dry and with a low acidity, featuring notes of caramel, vanilla, raisin, hazelnut and oak.
