This is a Superiore, which is far as I can tell just means it&#8217;s produced outside of the Chianti Classico zone, in this case Arezzo, and has not been aged in oak.<\/p>\n<p>Smells of blackberry, forest floor, and subtle black cherry. The taste is fruity and smooth with flavors of raspberry, blackberry, cherry, and plum on an astringent but velvety smooth medium body. The finish is long and dry with a light acidity, featuring notes of dark chocolate, leather, Noble hops, and tobacco.
