The taste is dry and lightly acidic with flavors of cherry, raspberry, plum, and rhubarb on a soft medium body. The finish is long and moderately bitter with a high astringency, featuring notes of red meat, leather, raspberry, black cherry, dark chocolate, and oak. Overall, it’s a very dry and complicated red, but it’s very balanced and pairs fabulously with pasta and a red sauce. Definitely a wine that I could imagine improving with age.<\/p>\n
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-5753\" src=\"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Screenshot_20240420-210756-211x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"211\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Screenshot_20240420-210756-211x300.png 211w, https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Screenshot_20240420-210756-721x1024.png 721w, https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Screenshot_20240420-210756-768x1091.png 768w, https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Screenshot_20240420-210756-508x721.png 508w, https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Screenshot_20240420-210756.png 976w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 211px) 100vw, 211px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":5754,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","template":"","embm_styles":[294],"embm_groups":[],"embm_menus":[],"class_list":["post-5751","embm_beer","type-embm_beer","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","embm_style-barbaresco"],"embm_profile":{"malts":"100% Nebbiolo","hops":"","additions":"Aged 2 years in French oak casks","yeast":"Wine","abv":14.5,"ibu":null},"embm_extras":{"availability":"","notes":"","beer_number":null},"embm_untappd":{"id":null},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/5751","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/embm_beer"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=5751"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/5751\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":5755,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/5751\/revisions\/5755"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/5754"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=5751"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"embm_style","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_styles?post=5751"},{"taxonomy":"embm_group","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_groups?post=5751"},{"taxonomy":"embm_menu","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_menus?post=5751"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
