The taste is rich and creamy with flavors of fig, raisin, sherry, hazelnut, and vanilla of a super smooth and creamy, lightly carbonated body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of aged champagne, caramel, Earl Grey with steamed milk, sherry, oak, vanilla, and just a touch of herbal hops. Overall, wow, just wow. This beer is so exquisitely decadent that I really can&#8217;t even put it into words how good this is, how smooth the body is, how the finish leaves a lingering aroma in your nose on top of the luscious flavors. I noted the smoothness 3 years ago, but I really do think it&#8217;s gotten even smoother.
