I find adding a dash or two of orange bitters helps round out and smoothen the experience. 40%ABV

Magdala

Made by Torres with their Spanish brandy, this liqueur is on the sweeter side but is very smooth, with notes of orange gummies and rich brandy and nice warming sensation on the palate. 39%ABV

Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao

Smells of cognac and orange marmalade, this liqueur is much less sweet than the others, though not quite “dry” as there is some sweetness still. Very complex yet well rounded, and featuring a more complete flavor, with notes of orange blossom, juice, pith, and peel throughout. Smells of candied orange, it is extra sweet with flavors of orange gummies up front with notes of orange blossom and peel coming coming through in the warm but burnless finish. Bitters help temper the sweetness of needed without changing the flavor significantly. 40%ABV

Grand Marnier

Smells of oaked cognac and orange peel, moderately sweet with bitter orange throughout and hints of orange blossom and light burn in the finish.
