Looks a tad darker than the original IPA, almost no head. Smells, I&#8217;m not making this up, like popcorn; subtle notes of pine and toasted bread, but overwhelmingly popcorn. Taste is big bold hop flavor with an odd coppery tone underneath. Malt fills out the flavor a bit, and the slick mouthfeel adds a level of complexity, but this is a hop focused beer, all the way to the warm, bitter finish. More American in style than their original, but I wouldn&#8217;t be surprised if the malt base is the same between the two.
