The taste is crisp and woody with flavors of charred oak, toasted wheat biscuits, burnt caramel and a hint of Belgian yeast on a smooth full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of bourbon, herbal hops, vanilla, dark chocolate, white pepper, and licorice. Overall, this one is quite good, it’s complex and the balance between oak and traditional Tripel is perfect.<\/p>\n
Best by: 4\/05\/24<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":4698,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","template":"","embm_styles":[12],"embm_groups":[],"embm_menus":[],"class_list":["post-4696","embm_beer","type-embm_beer","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","embm_style-belgian-tripel"],"embm_profile":{"malts":"2 Row Barley, Caramel Malt","hops":"Styrian Goldings, Citra","additions":"Sweet orange peel, Coriander, Licorice root, Aged on "virgin American Oak chips"","yeast":"Belgian Ale","abv":9,"ibu":27},"embm_extras":{"availability":"","notes":"","beer_number":null},"embm_untappd":{"id":4808523},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/4696","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/embm_beer"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=4696"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/4696\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":4699,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/4696\/revisions\/4699"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/4698"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=4696"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"embm_style","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_styles?post=4696"},{"taxonomy":"embm_group","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_groups?post=4696"},{"taxonomy":"embm_menu","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_menus?post=4696"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
