Lightly hazy with excellent head retention, smells of gingersnap cookies, caramel, and clove. The taste is crisp and spicy, with flavors of toasted bread, caramel, ginger, clove, and cinnamon on a smooth full body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of toasted cinnamon, grapefruit peel, burnt caramel, herbal hops and subtle pine. Overall, this is a nice festive ale that’s well spiced and well balanced. A perfect end to the advent calendar!<\/p>\n
