The taste is dense and rich with flavors of toasted biscuits, grapefruit juice, and raisins on a full body. The finish is long and high in bitterness, featuring notes of pine resin, sherry, grapefruit peels, and herbal hops. Overall, it’s ok; the aroma is slightly off, the taste is slightly off, and the bitterness is abrasive and somewhat one-dimensional. Not a drain pour, but also not something I’d ever buy again.<\/p>\n
Drink by: 2\/6\/22<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":3943,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","template":"","embm_styles":[54],"embm_groups":[],"embm_menus":[],"class_list":["post-3941","embm_beer","type-embm_beer","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","embm_style-ipa-imperial-double"],"embm_profile":{"malts":"Pale, Munich, Carmel 40","hops":"Alchemy, Chinook, Cascade, HBC-431, Centennial, Mosaic, Eureka","additions":"","yeast":"Ale","abv":8.6,"ibu":66},"embm_extras":{"availability":"","notes":"","beer_number":null},"embm_untappd":{"id":7667},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/3941","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/embm_beer"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=3941"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/3941\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":3944,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/3941\/revisions\/3944"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/3943"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=3941"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"embm_style","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_styles?post=3941"},{"taxonomy":"embm_group","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_groups?post=3941"},{"taxonomy":"embm_menu","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_menus?post=3941"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
