oils and resins at extremely low temperatures. Earthy herbal notes push through the boozy nose, until a presence of star fruit, honeydew and nectarine pit make themselves known. Initial cold hop bite of pine quickly dissipates to a balanced malt body, candied mandarin rind, strawberry jam and key lime zest.<\/span><\/p>\n

Always excited to review another Nightmare brew<\/a>, though I admit, I feel a little disappointed by the sketchbook art on this can but it was all the store had.<\/p>\n

Moderately hazy with minimal head retention, smells of cantaloupe, mango, and plantains. The taste is crisp and bready with flavors of kr\u00e4uterlik\u00f6r, toasted biscuits and peppery grains along with a sweeter honey and almond milk character underneath the full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter featuring notes of lemon peel, grapefruit, black tea, pine, melon rinds, and herbal hops.
