The taste is crisp and fruity with flavors of apple, pear, soft pineapple, and light mango with a toasted bread background on a thick, chewy body. The finish is long and high in bitterness, featuring notes of pine, herbal, and spicy hops with a touch of grapefruit pith. Overall, I expected this to just be the same as Pliny for President, but it is a bit more refined. Not as hazy, but more balanced, and more fruit forward, this makes a worthy sequel to Elder if you like your West Coast IPAs to be extra hoppy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":3092,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","template":"","embm_styles":[54],"embm_groups":[],"embm_menus":[],"class_list":["post-3090","embm_beer","type-embm_beer","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","embm_style-ipa-imperial-double"],"embm_profile":{"malts":"Unknown","hops":"Dry Hopped Twice with Amarillo, Centennial, CTZ, and Simcoe","additions":"","yeast":"Ale","abv":8,"ibu":100},"embm_extras":{"availability":"","notes":"","beer_number":null},"embm_untappd":{"id":4128617},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/3090","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/embm_beer"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=3090"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/3090\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":3093,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/3090\/revisions\/3093"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/3092"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=3090"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"embm_style","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_styles?post=3090"},{"taxonomy":"embm_group","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_groups?post=3090"},{"taxonomy":"embm_menu","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_menus?post=3090"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
