The taste is crisp and bready at first, then immediately transitions to a sweet apple and cinnamon character, on a slick medium body. The finish is boozy, almost burning, and moderately bitter with notes of apple pie, booze, and spicy hops. Overall, I like idea here, and the cinnamon apple flavor is used well, though the end result is a bit too harsh for me. Perhaps with aging (labelled ages up to 5 years) this one will get better.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":2700,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","template":"","embm_styles":[160],"embm_groups":[],"embm_menus":[],"class_list":["post-2698","embm_beer","type-embm_beer","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","embm_style-wheat-wine"],"embm_profile":{"malts":"2-ROW, WHITE WHEAT","hops":"MILLENNIUM","additions":"Aged an unknown amount of time in Larceny Wheated Bourbon Barrels, "apple, cinnamon, and natural caramel flavor added after aging"","yeast":"Ale","abv":14.6,"ibu":60},"embm_extras":{"availability":"","notes":"","beer_number":null},"embm_untappd":{"id":4018530},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/2698","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/embm_beer"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=2698"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/2698\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":2725,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/2698\/revisions\/2725"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/2700"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2698"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"embm_style","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_styles?post=2698"},{"taxonomy":"embm_group","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_groups?post=2698"},{"taxonomy":"embm_menu","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_menus?post=2698"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
