The taste is lightly sweet with a subtle breadiness and notes of dark chocolate, smoke, and bourbon on slick, syrupy body. The finish is long and boozy with a low to moderate bitterness and notes of smoke, bourbon, and herbal hops. Overall, it’s a delicious beer, and extraordinarily drinkable for it’s ABV, however it’s also a bit one-dimensional, with a chocolate and bourbon character dominating the entire experience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":2683,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","template":"","embm_styles":[145],"embm_groups":[],"embm_menus":[],"class_list":["post-2681","embm_beer","type-embm_beer","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","embm_style-stout-american-imperial-double"],"embm_profile":{"malts":" 2 ROW, BLACK MALT, CARAMEL, CHOCOLATE, MUNICH 10, ROASTED BARLEY","hops":"MILLENNIUM","additions":"Barrel Aged One Year in Various Barrels","yeast":"Ale","abv":14.6,"ibu":60},"embm_extras":{"availability":"","notes":"","beer_number":null},"embm_untappd":{"id":3993507},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/2681","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/embm_beer"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=2681"}],"version-history":[{"count":4,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/2681\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":2728,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/2681\/revisions\/2728"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/2683"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2681"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"embm_style","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_styles?post=2681"},{"taxonomy":"embm_group","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_groups?post=2681"},{"taxonomy":"embm_menu","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_menus?post=2681"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
