The taste is semi-sweet with fruity notes of citrus and apple atop an ultra smooth full body to provide a soft doughy background. The finish is short and very low in bitterness, with more yeast flavors than hops, but a subtle herbal\/earthy hop note is there. Overall, this is one of the greats among Bavarian beers, and it lives up to the hype.
