The taste is crisp and clean, yet with a light honey sweetness, bringing a duality to the malt profile, like 2 beers blended; medium body. The finish is fairly clean with low bitterness, notes of floral and herbal hops. Overall, this is a solidly sessionable yet commendably complex beer. There are some flavors in the finish that remind me of American adjunct lagers, but in this case, I feel it actually helps to make the beer more approachable for the masses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","template":"","embm_styles":[65],"embm_groups":[],"embm_menus":[],"class_list":["post-1372","embm_beer","type-embm_beer","status-publish","hentry","embm_style-kolsch"],"embm_profile":{"malts":"Unknown","hops":"Unknown","additions":"","yeast":"Ale","abv":5.2,"ibu":23},"embm_extras":{"availability":"","notes":"","beer_number":null},"embm_untappd":{"id":1387947},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/1372","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/embm_beer"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=1372"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/1372\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":1374,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/1372\/revisions\/1374"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1372"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"embm_style","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_styles?post=1372"},{"taxonomy":"embm_group","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_groups?post=1372"},{"taxonomy":"embm_menu","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_menus?post=1372"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
