The taste is crisp and lightly peppery with a subtle touch of toffee and a creamy smooth, medium body. The finish is low in bitterness and with a soft grassy character and an almost buttery creaminess. Overall, this is a fantastic beer. My flavor descriptions don’t accurately convey the experience, but this is honestly one of my favorite session beers of all time. I could (and did, in college) drink this beer all day long.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","template":"","embm_styles":[65],"embm_groups":[],"embm_menus":[],"class_list":["post-1297","embm_beer","type-embm_beer","status-publish","hentry","embm_style-kolsch"],"embm_profile":{"malts":"Unknown, "a touch of rye"","hops":"Unknown","additions":"Unknown?","yeast":"Ale","abv":5,"ibu":11},"embm_extras":{"availability":"","notes":"","beer_number":null},"embm_untappd":{"id":263791},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/1297","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/embm_beer"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=1297"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/1297\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":1300,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/1297\/revisions\/1300"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1297"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"embm_style","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_styles?post=1297"},{"taxonomy":"embm_group","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_groups?post=1297"},{"taxonomy":"embm_menu","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_menus?post=1297"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
