Matt (parent company of Saranac). Hazy with a thick, rocky head; smells of fresh citrus and pine hops, with a light bready quality underneath. The taste is crisp and biscuity with notes of mineral water and a subtle pepperiness, body is full. The finish is moderately bitter with notes of pine, citrus peel, and herbal hops. Overall it tastes, like many other session IPAs, like a watered down version of a better IPA. It’s not bad by any means, if you’re looking for an affordable, flavorful, yet light and drinkable beer, you could do a lot worse than this, but personally I’d rather just drink a Euro lager that meets those qualifications.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","template":"","embm_styles":[58],"embm_groups":[],"embm_menus":[],"class_list":["post-1264","embm_beer","type-embm_beer","status-publish","hentry","embm_style-ipa-session-india-session-ale"],"embm_profile":{"malts":"Pale, Wheat, Munich, Carapils","hops":"Amarillo, Citra","additions":"","yeast":"Ale","abv":4.5,"ibu":30},"embm_extras":{"availability":"","notes":"","beer_number":null},"embm_untappd":{"id":1022924},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/1264","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/embm_beer"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=1264"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/1264\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":1267,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_beers\/1264\/revisions\/1267"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1264"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"embm_style","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_styles?post=1264"},{"taxonomy":"embm_group","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_groups?post=1264"},{"taxonomy":"embm_menu","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.davedrinksbeer.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/embm_menus?post=1264"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
